Hi friends! I want to share something personal with you, something that has reminded me how precious and fragile our health truly is.

This feels very vulnerable for me because I’ve never shared something like this publicly before, but sometimes we have to take that step to take care of our health.

Recently, I was hospitalized due to severe anemia. The cause? Uterine fibroids, which have been causing heavy bleeding. I had to receive a blood transfusion, and my doctors have recommended surgery soon to address the issue.

Going through this in a new country hasn’t been easy. On the one hand, it’s more affordable than in the US, which is why I decided to have my

treatment here, but navigating medical care far from home comes with its own challenges.
