I am the founder of QueerDoc where we provide gender affirming care to adolescents and adults. Since 2022, I have spent more and more of my time supporting advocacy in gender care. Unfortunately, this has impacted my income as it has taken hours away from my paying work. Then in 2025, the Department of Justice subpoenaed QueerDoc, so I have been fighting to protect patient privacy and transgender medicine in court with the support of the ACLU-WA. The legal attacks like the subpoena and harassment like the Department of Health and Human Services report, have increased the cost of this advocacy.
