Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of our family, who recently endured a tragic bus accident. Our beloved dad, a hardworking forklift driver, has been a pillar of strength and resilience since he migrated to the United States during the Reagan era. As a proud U.S. citizen, he has always embraced the American dream, working tirelessly to provide for our family.
This tragic accident has left him unable to work, putting a significant financial strain and stress. His dedication and love for his family have always shone through his hard work, and it breaks our hearts to see him in this position.
Moreover, the accident has profoundly impacted our siblings, Monse and Omar. Monse, a beautiful young girl with an unshakeable faith, loves the Lord and is involved in the children's ministry at Calvary Chapel East Anaheim. Her joyful spirit and dedication to serving others have always been an inspiration to everyone around her. Despite losing a limb, her faith and determination remain unbroken.
Omar is currently in the hospital, recovering from an arm amputation and several other severe injuries. His courage and strength during this incredibly challenging time have been nothing short of remarkable.
We are humbly asking for your support to help our family navigate through this difficult period. Your generous contributions will allow us to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and everyday living costs, enabling our loved ones to concentrate on healing and rebuilding their lives.
Our goal is to ensure that Dad, Monse and Omar focus entirely on their recovery without the burden of financial stress.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
With gratitude,
The Barrera Family
