This July, I will be participating in a medical mission to Tanzania under the auspices of Healing the Children Northeast Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All health professionals that make up the team will volunteer their time and medical services. This mission, I will be working with a team performing plastic and ENT surgery procedures to help children with various conditions such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and microtia, to name a few.
