Help My Daughter’s Emotional Support Pup Get Life-Changing Surgery
Hi friends and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter and her sweet Yorkshire Terrier, Hazel Honey, who I lovingly call my “grandpup.” This little pup is so much more than a pet, she is my daughter’s emotional support animal, her constant source of comfort, and the one who eases her anxiety during life’s hardest moments.
Unfortunately, she now needs surgery to repair both a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) and a luxating patella in her leg. Without this surgery, she will continue to be in pain and unable to enjoy the happy, playful life she deserves. The cost of this surgery is estimated to be between $6,000-$9,000 which is an overwhelming expense for my daughter at this time.
Over the past few years, my daughter has already faced significant medical and surgery costs of her own. She has poured her energy into teaching, but due to ongoing health issues, she has had to close that chapter of her career and is now in between jobs. As much as she wants to provide for her pup the way she has provided for her emotionally, she simply doesn’t have the resources right now to cover such an expense.
This is why we’re asking for help. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward the surgery, post-op care, and giving my grandpup the chance to run, play, and continue being the loving support my daughter so deeply needs.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much. Together, we can help ensure her pup gets the care she needs and my daughter doesn’t lose the source of unconditional love and comfort that has carried her through so much.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for considering helping our family during this difficult time. From the bottom of our hearts—we are so grateful.
❤️
