I’m Hayley Hawk and I recently got my car stolen, the night of Mother’s Day. I woke up to go to work as a pharmacy technician, and saw that my car was missing. I reported it stolen and within two days I got notice that they found my car, in which two suspects crashed my vehicle into a tree.

They broke my passenger window and used a screwdriver to hijack my car, went out to Harrah for a joy ride driving extremely recklessly, and then sped down the hilly-roads away from the cops so fast they slammed down and threw the engine outside of my vehicle. They then crashed into the tree and created a fire with my car, my belongings scattered in said fire and gone.

Insurance is paying less than assumed for the market value price for my vehicle that I paid off, and while I’m working full time as a pharmacy technician, I can’t afford a new car with this settlement and my wages. I never thought I’d have to do this, but I would be so grateful for at least some funds to get to a market value price of what I expected originally. I’m picking up any hours I possibly can and still am struggling to find the money to get a vehicle that is less likely to get broken into again, so truly anything helps.
