Support Haylee's Rehabilitation Journey

Hi, my name is Shira and recently, my best friend, Haylee, developed Guillain-Barre syndrome causing her to lose all feelings in her legs. Guillain-Barre is “a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves.” As a result, the paralysis in Haylee’s legs have required her to be hospitalized recently. To start rehabilitation, she has been going through immunoglobulin treatment for 5 days which has been very taxing on both her physical and mental health. After weeks in the hospital, she will have to go to rehab. While her and her partner are doing their best to stay positive throughout her recovery, the expenses are starting to accumulate.

This girl is the strongest girl I know. She is just 21 years old with an 18 month old baby girl and is an amazing and dedicated mother.
