Support Haylee's Recovery After Severe Accident

My name is Laura, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my little sister Haylee. On Saturday, December 21, 2024, around 1 p.m., Haylee Johnson was involved in a serious head-on collision with another vehicle in Alachua County. Haylee was life flighted from the scene with life-threatening injuries to Shands hospital. She will undergo multiple surgeries over the next couple weeks and more coming the following months. She sustained the following injuries: compounded fractures to both femurs, both fibulas, both tibias, right wrist, right ankle, shattered and compounded kneecap and ankle. She also suffered from internal injuries to include severe damage to a kidney and her colon. Also, multiple contusions and cuts throughout her body. Thankfully no head or spinal injuries. Unfortunately, due to starting a new career as a caregiver recently, she does not have health insurance. The road ahead is uncertain but we do know it will be continuous surgeries, a lot of rehabs, and therapy. As a result, she will be without an income for an unforeseen time.
