Hi, I'm Steve and I need your help to fight for our dear friend and colleague at the YMCA of San Diego County, Haylee Pamelar. Haylee is one of the most amazing and talented team members I have ever worked with in my career. She has been a rock for our Y since 2017. More importantly, she is an amazing mother to Baby Niko (6 months old), Keon (4 years), and Caleb (9 years). She is also a loving wife of her husband (Nestor), a loving older sister to her brothers (Tommy and Andrew), and precious daughter to her parents (Mai and Vinh). If you know Haylee, then you know she is not one to ask for help or hugs, but she needs both right now.

Haylee has Stage IV metastatic lung cancer at no fault of her own. She has an EGFR mutation lung cancer that has rapidly spread to her legs and multiple tumors in her brain. It's not fair. It's not fair to a young mother. It's not fair to her parents who never want to see a child in pain or sick. It's not fair to her husband and the dreams they have for their young and growing family.
