My name is Haylee and Canaan is my sweet Boston Terrier I’ve had since I first moved out on my own in 2018.

Our sweet boy was diagnosed with pancreatitis last night and was put on a three-day treatment plan. It has been absolutely heartbreaking seeing him in pain and then the guilt of if I could have done something sooner. For those who know me well, know Canaan has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and his treatment was never optional for me. Though we are very grateful for the medical care our vet has provided, we were misled by the total cost of the treatment plan they had prepared. Asking for help, especially financially, is not something I’ve ever done. However, my husband and I recently moved to Texas this summer and welcomed our baby girl two months ago. With the recent move and becoming a one-income household with me on maternity leave, such a large expense has put us in a bit of a financial bind. We would be extremely grateful for any type of help we can receive at this time.
