Hello, my name is Hayden Brown and I am a writer and film director. I am a graduate from Hiawatha High School in Hiawatha, Kansas, and attending the New York Film Academy. I am fundraising to be able to create the short film that I have been wanting to make for years. It is a story about love, betrayal, acceptance, and beliefs, all lead by two characters as their evolving relationship continues. This story is inspired by some of my favorite films like Revolutionary Road (2008), Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019), Brokeback Mountain (2005), Blue Valentine (2010), Phantom Thread (2017), The Age of Innocence (1993), and Call Me By Your Name (2017).

I have a dream to be like the filmmakers that I have looked up to for years: Martin Scorsese, Terrence Malick, Stephen Spielberg, Akira Kurosawa, Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, and so many more.

I am a dedicated filmmaker who wants to put out their best work. I have worked hard for years to get to where I am, and this extra help would be very beneficial to help me achieve my goals that I have been working towards for years. I plan to release this film into multiple film festivals.

The funds will go towards locations, feeding the cast and crew, travel, and distribution.
