Support Hayden's Road to Recovery

As many of you know Hayden got what is called a Nuss Procedure for his Pectus Excavatum on November 27. Things were going great and we thought he was going to have none of the worst case scenarios and he able to live a normal, youthful and energetic life with no complications anymore. Our world came crashing down on Christmas Day when he wasn't feeling well and was in extreme pain so we did what we could to make him comfortable. The following Saturday we ended up in the emergency room and was given high dose antibiotics and steroids to help with any inflammation/infection he was fighting. We thought things were going great until I noticed one of his incisions didn't look right and his fever wasn't breaking. Last night I brought Hayden to the emergency room where they did multiple x-rays, CT scans along with lots and lots of blood being taken for cultures. They decided to admit him pneumonia and put him on high dose IV antibiotics. Things were alright until they did his respiratory therapy and he coughed causing the incision in question from Friday night to open and ooze along with him coughing up blood. Not something a mom wants to see or can unsee. After being changed into his 3rd gown and new dressings put on, we received news that unfortunately with his blood cultures taken this morning, they were positive for sepsis bacteria. As of right now we are currently waiting for the medical team from Kalispell to fly down here and take us back to Kalispell to Logan Health where they specialize on the surgery he received a month ago and meet with a team from the PICU there. We caught this fairly quickly and unfortunately it's going to be a long road to recovery as he will be on antibiotics for about 3 months once discharged.
I am reaching out today because we need your support. Medical bills are piling up, and the road to recovery will require additional care, treatment, and follow-up appointments. Any donations, no matter how small, would help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
If you're able to contribute, we would be forever grateful for your kindness. Your donation will directly ease the financial burden we’re facing and allow us to focus entirely on Hayden’s health and recovery. If you're unable to give at this time, simply sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help is just as meaningful.
Please keep Hayden in your thoughts and prayers. We are so thankful for the outpouring of love and support we've received already. This experience has reminded us to hold our loved ones tight and cherish every moment. We are grateful for every bit of help, and we truly appreciate your kindness. Please know that any amount, no matter how small, is appreciated more than words can express. We are so thankful for your love, support, and generosity. Thank you for being a part of our journey—together, we can help Hayden get through this.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
