On Wednesday, November 13th, Hattie Fields was very unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia AML. For those of you who know Hattie, you know she is funny, curious, busy, and sweet as pie. She is 18 months old and fighting a fight that no one should have to battle. Together with her family, she will be at Vanderbilt for the next 3-4 weeks, home for a week and then repeat that for the next 6 months as they fight this horrible disease with chemo. We want to be a light for David, Mary, and Hattie. As the family will be adjusting to a new normal of hospital stays, chemotherapy, traveling an hour plus back home and also taking care of themselves, Hattie, and Mary being pregnant with their other daughter, we want to help. The goal is to lighten their load, help them feel loved and set the stage for an easier tomorrow for the Fields Family. We are asking for financial relief as they navigate but the real ask is for prayers! Pray for Hattie to be healed, for God to intervene on this family’s behalf. Specific prayer requests are for strength and healing of Hattie, for Mary and her pregnancy, and for their family as a whole.
