My name is Wael, and I'm reaching out with a plea for help for my brother, Hatem SALEM, and his family.

They are trapped in the midst of the devastating & ongoing war in Gaza.

Here is the message from Hatem:

Hello, my name is Hatem SALEM . A Palestinian man who lives in Gaza - Palestine.

From the first days of the ongoing war on Gaza strip, our house in Beach camp - Gaza, which we used to live in was partially destroyed due to the indiscriminate Zionist bombing of Gaza, which did not distinguish between humans and stones.

More than once, we miraculously escaped death, and we were forced 3-times to leave our home, and our temporary shelters to escape death, and save our lives. Now we are at one of the shelter in Al-Nusriat city (middle of Gaza strip).

My family tried to persever enduring the harsh conditions of war, but now we have reached the maximum capacity to ender such hardship. We did'nt expect the war will last this long and they struggle to access life necessities like food, drinkable water, clothes even if available the price has 4-times multiplied.

I have lost my job during the ongoing war. and there are no ways of obtaining income to meet my family basic needs.

I used to work as an accountant at Italianoo restaurant at Gaza city. During the ongoing war, the restaurant has been destroyed and the 3-owners of the restaurant have been killed by an Israil attack strikes.

My little daughter Zainab was born during war (April/2024) and I hope this war will end soon so she can take a rest from the worst conditions that we live and a very warm weather in the tent.

She lives with us in a small tent with my old mother and my wife.
