Support Hassan’s Family for Basic Needs
Donation protected
My name is Jessy Alvarado, and I live in Texas. Almost a year ago, a woman from Gaza reached out to me on Instagram. We’ve been in contact ever since. Over time, I got to know her and learned the heartbreaking reality her family is facing every single day. Eventually, she asked me if I could help create a GoFundMe to support her family and after hearing what they’ve been through, I couldn’t say no.
Her name is Hadeel, and her story has shaken me to my core.
Hadeel lives in Gaza with her husband Hassan , their four beautiful children, Zaina (8 years old), Malak (7), Celine (4), and Hassan (17) along with Hassan’s elderly mother, Mazeen Ehsan Alhindi.
Like thousands of innocent families in Gaza, they have lost everything. Their home was destroyed. Their neighborhood turned to rubble. Schools, markets, parks gone. Gaza is no longer a place to live. It is not safe. There are no shelters, no safe zones. Even in the southern city of Rafah, where families were told to flee for safety, the bombs still fall.
Now, Hadeel and her children are living in a thin, worn-out tent surrounded by thousands of other displaced people. There is no electricity. No clean water. No warmth at night. And the sound of drones and airstrikes never stops. They live every single day in fear, not knowing if they’ll survive the night.
Their youngest daughter, Celine, just four years old, is suffering from painful stomach parasites. She cries all night in pain. There are no hospitals to go to. No medicine to ease her suffering. The entire family is growing weaker malnourished, surviving on barely any food. Clean water is almost impossible to find, and disease is spreading fast.
The children haven’t had a proper shower in weeks. In one case, Celine had to bathe standing on a toilet in a filthy, overcrowded place. The little girls developed itchy lice and painful rashes from the unsanitary conditions. One night, Celine almost suffocated while sleeping because of the tight sleeping space in the tent.
These are children who once played outside, laughed with friends, and went to school. Now, they live in fear. They’ve seen horrors no child should ever witness. They cry in their sleep. They no longer smile. They are broken emotionally and physically.
Please, I’m asking from the bottom of my heart help us bring relief to this family. Your donation will help them get basic things we often take for granted: food, clean water, medical care, and hopefully, one day, help them escape this nightmare and find safety.
Even a small act of kindness can save a life. If you can’t donate, please share their story. They are not just numbers, they are a family trying to survive.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
