Hi everyone,
My name is Guadalupe, and I’m fundraising for my beloved cat, Hash. He was born on November 19th and I am hoping he can make it for his birthday. Hash has been struggling with recurrent urinary blockages, a painful and life-threatening condition that’s unfortunately common in male cats.
In the past few weeks, we’ve rushed to the emergency vet twice. Once for an overnight stay that cost $2,000, and again just days later for another blockage that cost $1,900. Each time the vets were able to temporarily relieve the blockage, but they explained that it’s likely to keep happening unless Hash undergoes a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery which is a specialized procedure that can save his life by preventing future blockages.
I’m a full-time student, and after these unexpected emergency bills, I’ve completely exhausted my savings and maxed out my credit trying to keep him alive. I love this little guy more than anything. he’s my best friend, my study buddy, and my emotional support through tough times.
The cost for his PU surgery and post-op care is estimated to be around 6,000 I hate asking for help, but at this point, I have no other options.
If you can donate anything at all, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and could truly save Hash’s life. Even if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach more people.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for caring about Hash. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
Lupe & Hash
