If you know Shierka, then you know she’s the type of person that will give her last, help everybody else first, and still somehow figure out a way to keep smiling through it all.
I’ve watched her build SVG OnDemand from the ground up while raising kids, working full time, helping other entrepreneurs, teaching classes, and pouring into a community of “Crafting Cousins” that genuinely love and support each other. What started in her basement with printers and late nights turned into something so much bigger than T-shirts and designs.
Then came HartHaus Content Studio.
And if I’m being real… this wasn’t just a business move for her. This was her dream.
She invested everything into creating a safe, creative space for people who normally don’t have access to one. A place for small business owners, podcasters, creators, photographers, workshop hosts, and everyday people with big ideas. A place where people could feel seen, supported, and inspired.
She took a leap most people would’ve been too scared to take.
She signed the lease.
Bought equipment.
Built out the studio.
Created spaces for creators.
Continued teaching.
Continued giving.
Continued showing up.
Even when orders slowed down.
Even when bills stacked up.
Even when she was mentally exhausted and financially stretched thin.
And the truth is… she’s never been the type to ask for help.
Most people only see the strong version of her online. The motivational posts. The creativity. The hustle. The “booked and busy” moments. But behind the scenes is a woman carrying a lot while still trying to build something meaningful for her community and her family.
Right now, HartHaus is in a really difficult season financially. Between overhead costs, studio expenses, equipment, rent increases, and trying to keep everything afloat, it’s become overwhelming. But I truly believe this space deserves a chance to survive and grow because I’ve seen the impact it already has on people.
If you’ve ever supported SVG OnDemand…
If you’ve ever learned from her…
If you’ve ever been inspired by her story…
If you’ve ever called yourself a Crafting Cousin…
If you believe creatives deserve spaces to dream bigger…
I’m asking you to support her however you can.
Whether it’s donating, sharing this fundraiser, booking the studio, purchasing from the website, or simply praying for her and this business… every single bit matters.
This isn’t just about saving a studio.
It’s about helping someone who has spent years helping everybody else finally receive support too.
And if there’s one thing I know about my sister…
She’s not giving up.
