Support Harshavardhan Urgent Surgery Fund

My name is Sai Kumar and I’m raising funds to help my friend Harshavardhan Pakala . He is facing a sudden and unexpected medical crisis and needs immediate surgery.

Eight years ago, he had a minor leg injury. After consulting a doctor with a doctor in India, he was assured everything was fine and continued with his life. However, recently, he slipped in the rain and injured the same leg again.This time, the injury is much more severe—

it's a multiple fracture(the ACL tear associated with a fracture fragment) and chronic changes (degenerative fraying and intrasubstance tears of the meniscus) that urgently requires surgery.

The orthopedic physician informed me that the surgery must be done as soon as possible, or he risk losing the ability to walk in the future. The procedure is costly, with an estimated expense of $36,000. Unfortunately, his insurance considers it a pre-existing condition due to the previous injury eight years ago and won't cover the costs.

He is not only facing the physical pain of this fracture but also the overwhelming financial burden of this unexpected surgery. The recovery will require extended bed rest, impacting his ability to work and support his family.
