Hi everyone,

Our dog Harry, a 4-year-old Goldendoodle, was recently injured and rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital. He has fractures in both bones of his front leg (the radius and ulna). Unfortunately, the breaks are displaced, meaning the bones are not lined up correctly and will not heal on their own.

To prevent further damage and reduce his pain, the veterinary team placed a temporary splint and started him on pain medication and antibiotics. However, this is only a short-term solution. Harry urgently needs orthopedic surgery to properly repair the fractures and avoid serious complications, long-term pain, or loss of function in his leg.

Until surgery, Harry must be kept on strict crate rest and closely monitored to prevent movement that could worsen the injury. He’s uncomfortable but staying strong, and we’re doing everything we can to keep him safe and calm.

The cost of emergency care, medications, imaging, and specialized orthopedic surgery is more than we can manage alone. We are asking for help to cover Harry’s surgery and recovery so he can heal properly and return to his happy, playful self.
