Support Harry Evans' Urgent Health Needs

My name is Harry Evans and I am a retired US Marine who is VA rated 100% disabled and a retired police officer. I was injured while serving in Afghanistan and was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease around four years ago. My disease has been progressing rapidly to the point where I am now house-bound. My wife can't work outside of the home because she is my main caregiver. My wife and I are trying to support our family off of my VA disability and retired military pay along with her stipend from the VA Caregiver program. We also have two autistic adult kids who reside with us in the home.

The reason I am trying to raise funds is to pay for two things. First, I need to get dental implants because of a medical condition of my bottom jaw. I am not a candidate for traditional dentures because of the dyskinesia caused by the Parkinson's. I suffer from painful involuntary movements of my jaw and tongue, so dentures will not work. About four years ago...I was prescribed a pain medication...brand name "Belbuca." I was not informed that the medication has been known to cause severe tooth deterioration. The other issue is that I've experienced a great deal of trauma over the years due to my military and law enforcement service. The VA is refusing to pay for implants because of my Parkinson's Disease and my military dental insurance will not cover the cost of dental implants despite the fact that there is a medical need.

The second reason I need to raise funds is because my entire HVAC system needs to be replaced. It is the system that came with our home and it has deteriorated to the point where it can't be repaired any longer. A recent inspection of the system revealed that organic growth and mold is inside the system and can't be cleaned. This situation is causing health issues for me and my wife. My wife and I are both in our 60s and my wife suffers from an immune disorder.
