Help Harrison Get His Life-Saving Kidney Pancreas Transplant

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Harrison — that’s me in the back with the cowboy hat. I’m 6’10” and right now, I’m fighting for my life.

I’ve lived with Type 1 Diabetes for years, but now my kidneys are failing. I’m in end-stage kidney failure and relying on dialysis several times a week just to survive.
But dialysis isn’t a cure — it’s just buying me time.

After battling pneumonia three times recently and enduring countless hospital stays, I was also diagnosed with congestive heart failure. My heart struggles to move fluid through my body, making it hard to breathe and putting even more strain on my organs.

The only real path forward now is a double transplant — a new kidney and pancreas. It’s my best shot at not just surviving, but truly living again — without machines, endless hospital visits, and constant emergencies.

The silver lining? Because of my heart condition, I may actually move up the transplant list faster. It’s a scary time — but I’m choosing hope. And I’m not giving up.

What a Transplant Means to Me

This transplant isn’t just about survival — it’s about freedom.
Freedom to travel without worrying about missing dialysis.
Freedom to drink a full glass of water without fear of fluid overload.
Freedom for my mom to finally relax and not have to worry every second of the day.
Freedom to live a full life — on my terms.

If I receive this transplant, I’ll get back over 15 hours a week that I currently spend in dialysis. That’s time I’ll use to rebuild, to create, to give back.

I dream of returning to the basketball court. Of being a full-time DJ again and traveling the world to share my music. Of becoming a motivational speaker and helping other patients find strength during their hardest times.
Of being normal — something I’ve never truly experienced due to my health.

What Life Looks Like Right Now

Every day, I wake up in pain, foggy-headed, and nauseous. It takes hours just to feel semi-functional. I force myself to eat. I clean one room at a time. I answer calls, work on the music apps I’m building, and try to move forward — even on the days my body tells me not to.

I perform at shows because music gives me life. But it drains what little energy I have. I drive myself to weekly doctor appointments and rely on sleep aids to fall asleep, since my body is in pain and my heart keeps me up struggling to breathe.

This isn’t how life should feel — and it doesn’t have to stay this way.

What Keeps Me Going

I’ve been humbled by this journey. Being in the music world, I used to think partying was the reward — but staying sober and healthy is what’s truly changed my life. I’ve learned that I don’t need anything outside of myself to feel joy, to create, or to connect with others. That shift in mindset has been one of the biggest blessings of this fight.

And the biggest fuel for my spirit? You.
The support from my mom, my friends, my extended music family, and strangers who’ve become part of my circle — it means more than I could ever say. Every like, share, comment, check-in, or donation reminds me that I’m not alone. You make me want to keep fighting. You are part of my healing.

Why I Need Your Help

Even with insurance, the costs are overwhelming. Your donation will help cover:

• Surgery and hospital bills
• Lifelong anti-rejection medications
• Travel and lodging for treatment and recovery
• Help covering living expenses when I can’t work

Every donation, every share, every prayer brings me one step closer to a second chance at life.

If you can’t donate, just sharing this page with your friends and family means the world to me.

I’ve always tried to lift others up — now I’m leaning on my community to help lift me.
I’m ready for this second chance — and with your help, I know I’ll get there.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of my journey.
You are giving me more hope than I could ever put into words.

Much love,
Harrison
