Missoula High School Students Fundraise to Bring Public Service Campaign to Area Schools
Siblings Declan (12th grade, Loyola) and Caitrin Harrington (11th grade, Loyola) are raising money to bring in keynote speaker and mental health advocate Ethan Fisher to local high schools. Ethan tours the country, discussing his first-hand experience with the devastating consequences of drunk driving. The Harrington siblings are raising money in honor of their first cousin Bridget Kirby, a sophomore at Carroll College who died on November 19, 2021, due to a drunk driver. The Harringtons have already fundraised a considerable amount and continue to work towards their financial goal. They currently have Ethan scheduled to present at Loyola, Frenchtown, and Florence schools and hope to have Ethan present at as many Montana high schools as possible in October, the week before Halloween when many young adults make poor choices regarding substances and driving.
