In our community, there is a family in need of help. Harpreet Kaur and her children are facing a difficult chapter after the sudden loss of her husband. Harpreet is doing her best to stay strong for her children, even as she faces each day with uncertainty and grief. Now the sole provider for her two children, she is determined to do whatever it takes to support her family. Despite suffering from severe arthritis, she wants to take on Uber jobs to make ends meet. However, her only car, purchased in 2011, has broken down and is no longer suitable for Uber work. This has made it even more challenging for her to earn a steady income.

Her oldest son, who is about to turn 16, has stepped up to help by mowing lawns for neighbors. The family hopes to buy a lawn mower so he can continue helping more efficiently. Her younger son is a kindergartner, and both children are doing their best in school despite the challenges they face at home.

The most urgent concern is the remaining mortgage on their home. Losing their home would be devastating for the family. They also need a reliable car for Uber work and a lawn mower for her son. She’s getting some family support, but it’s nowhere near what they need. Your donation will go directly toward helping this family cover essential living costs, pay off the mortgage, purchase a car for Uber, and buy a lawn mower.
