Harold's Haunt is Millvale's haunted They-Bar, an inclusive community space that is so much more than just your typical watering hole.

We boast events like Stitch & Witch Harpy Hour, where folks gather to do their hand crafts; Found Family sober events hosted by the Queer Resource Center of Millvale; drag shows, karaoke, open stage, and witchy rituals!

You're probably used to seeing fundraisers for non-profit organizations, who tend to rely on community gifts for the majority of their revenue. Harold's Haunt is nominally a for-profit business, but believe us, it has yet to be profitable.

We absolutely hate asking for help, especially seeing as so many individuals, particularly those in our queer community, are also financially struggling right now. We are hoping to reach this (enormous, to us) $30,000 goal, which will mean we don't have to ask for money again for a very long time. Even this amount won't make Harold's Haunt anywhere close to debt-free, but it will keep the wolves from the door for a little bit longer.

The last thing we want to do is close our doors when we know this third space has meant so much to so many people. We're hoping that asking for this big goal in the holiday season, we may catch the eye of people who have the resources to give big.

$2K will get the music license people to leave us alone for a year

$4K covers debt from 2022 (which won't give us a payment plan option)

Another $6K will get our heat turned back on (the poor, shivering bartenders!)

$5K we can replace our windows (helping us keep that heat inside the building, or as our dads would say "we're not heating the whole of Millvale!")

$9K will pay our our loan with the highest interest rate

An additional $4K means we can buy some ads to get more people in the door and more folks using our travel bar (yeah, we can come to YOU), which will increase revenue (and mean we can hopefully stop asking for money)

What else? Oh, yeah. Merch. What everyone has been asking for.
