Hello, friends! This is Chrissy Grant. I am reaching out to PLEASE help our dear friends & neighbors, Harold & Stephanie Johnson. Harold is currently at the Rehab Institute of St. Louis (an inpatient center) recovering from a staph infection that was a result of heart surgery.

Harold had his first open heart surgery in 2019. On September 11th of this year, Harold had surgery at Barnes Jewish hospital to replace his heart valve with a mechanical one. After the surgery, Harold developed a staph infection resulting in 4 MORE surgeries and a lengthy hospital stay. Harold has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

Over the past last years, Harold's quality of life has been less than desirable. He has not been able to do normal life functions and cannot enjoy a simple walk or play with his grandchildren. Harold & Stephanie have a financial burden I am asking friends and family to please help with; travel expenses, medical expenses and the looming expenses for items needed when Harold gets home. Stephanie has obviously missed a lot of work reducing their income and Harold has not been able to work. I am asking to please give what you can. Even $10 puts gas in Stephanie's car to get her to Ballwin, MO where Harold is at. Please also Share this gofundme.
