Help Support Hans Musselman's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Last Saturday our fellow pal Hans Musselman was involved in a pretty serious motorcycle crash. A car pulled out of a side street and suddenly jammed on its brakes (likely didn’t see him) and Hans crashed into the vehicle. If it weren’t for a stranger (I think Hans said his name was Jeremy) who immediately rushed from his house to help Hans it would likely have ended with this being to raise money for a funeral instead. Jeremy had something in his hand that he used as a tourniquet (a piece of towel I think) to stop Hans’ bleeding femoral artery until the rescue arrived. The guy even came to the hospital to visit him the next day! Thank God for the angels among us.
Hans has 2 compound fractures and broke several bones in his leg. He also crushed some of the bones in his foot. He was in surgery on Monday and has another on Wednesday. Apparently there will have to be several more surgeries and possibly bone grafts. Although Hans is in some pretty serious pain, he is actually in pretty good spirits (help from all the meds I’m sure).
We don’t know how long the road to recovery will be as the battle is in its early stage. Hans will certainly not be able to work for some time. He also will need to have a few things in his home modified to help make his recovery as quick and easy as possible. I know he is going to likely be unhappy with me for starting a Go Fund Me for him but too bad, he is going to need our support.
Also, please try to share this, thanks!
