Support Hanoi's Diversity Choir

Close your eyes and imagine you are in a concert hall filled with love, freedom and equality with over 1,000 people, surrounded by the beautiful singing of more than 100 national and international artists as well as performers from different communities (the elderly, the young, the disabled, LGBT people, and people from ethnic minorities).  The Diversity Choir is such a project.  In collaboration with the Australian-led Pacific Pride Choir, the Diversity Choir will perform on July 20, 2019 in Hanoi.  During a 7-month training period, the choir will receive professional assistance from high profile artists including composer Luu Quang Minh ( Director of the Maius Philharmonic Orchestra) and conductor Nguyen Hai Yen (Vice President of the Sol Art Center).  The choir is directed by Ms. Hoang thi Thu Houng, Deputy Director of the Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSEE).  We need your support to give Diversity Choir members the best training possible.

Your donation will fund commissioning a song, "The Song of My Dreams", holding training sessions and a performance at the Vietnam National Academy of Music with the Pacific Pride Choir.  Each of your donations, a note in the diverse symphony, is meaningful.  This new choir in Vietnam is ground-breaking.  Please give these people a chance to be heard and to shine.
