Support Hanna's Battle with POTS
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Hanna, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit.
Back in 2019, I was diagnosed with a debilitating condition called POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) — a form of dysautonomia that affects my blood flow, heart rate, and daily functioning. Over the past year, things have gotten significantly worse. I now receive IV treatments three times a week and take multiple medications just to help manage symptoms and stay somewhat stable. Because of my condition, I’m only able to work part-time, and even then, there are weeks when my symptoms make it impossible to meet those limited hours. Despite doing everything I can to stay afloat, the high cost of medications, hospital visits, and repeated ambulance rides has left me drowning in medical debt.
I’m humbly asking for your support to help raise $5,000 to cover:
• Outstanding medical bills
• IV treatment expenses
• Prescription medications
• Ambulance and hospital costs
I’m also planning ahead and exploring the possibility of getting a medical service dog, which could drastically improve my independence and quality of life. However, the training and care of a specialized service animal can cost $50,000–$60,000, and that’s not something I can take on alone.
Any amount you can give—big or small—would mean the world to me. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page with others is just as powerful.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for reading my story, for sharing, for donating, and for simply caring. Living with a chronic illness has been one of the hardest journeys of my life, but your kindness helps carry some of that weight. I’m so grateful to have a community—whether near or far—that stands beside me in this fight.
With love and gratitude,
Hanna
