A few days ago, my sister Hannah went through a frightening medical emergency. What started as what seemed like a difficult menstrual cycle quickly turned into something much more serious - she lost a significant amount of blood and needed multiple transfusions.
Thanks to quick care and a dedicated medical team, she’s now resting and beginning to recover. But she’s still very weak, and her body needs time and space to heal fully.
Hannah has been living with PCOS and insulin resistance for most of her adult life. She’s spent years putting her own health on the back burner — always prioritizing her work helping others, and somehow still finding the energy to help even more people through volunteer and community activities. She’s one of those rare souls who shows up for everyone, all the time.
Now, it’s time we do what communities do best; and show up for her.
Even with insurance, the medical costs from her emergency care, transfusions, and hospital stay are heavy, and she’ll need time off to rest and rebuild her strength. The best way we can help right now is to ease that financial strain so she can focus completely on getting healthy.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing this page. Every contribution — big or small — helps lighten her load and reminds her that she’s surrounded by love, care, and gratitude.
Hannah has given so much of herself to others. Now it’s our turn to help her heal.
