Support Hannah's Fight Against Kidney Failure

Hi, my name is Zach Bloom and I am Hannah's brother.

Hannah has been diagnosed with Acute stage 5 Kidney failure in both Kidney's.

We are confident in God's Faithfulness. We are speaking, declaring, praying, seeking, fasting and worshipping together as a family. We are all so grateful for all who are praying & believing for a miracle with us. We don't know what God is going to do, but we Trust Him.

In the mean time, we have had many suggest starting a "GoFundMe." Finances have been an added pressure of stress to put it lightly for the Rivera Family. We are believing for a miracle, but also God's financial provision for them during this time. If you feel led to contribute, this will go directly to the Rivera's to help with Medical Cost, Meals, & loss of income during this difficult time.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

-Please pray for her kidneys to start working and responding to dialysis and that this will not be a long term thing.

-Pray for peace for Hannah while she is in the hospital with no answers but a completely changed life at the moment and just stuck.

-Prayer for guidance and provision- many know Brandon is self employed but has been out of work due to this and they aren’t sure how long this will be.

5/13 UPDATE

It’s with a very heavy heart to bring this update- I’m literally shaking writing this in disbelief. So we are at the end of our rope with trying to get her kidneys to revive. We got the horrible news today regarding her kidney biopsy.

They found severe dehydration damage but also her kidneys are starting to glaze over called oxolate nephropathy- which is caused by something attacking her kidneys and causing them not to function. She is being put on permanent dialysis and the kidney Donor list. We are in shock but not hopeless- Hannah’s spirits are high and know God will heal her one way or the other.

The kidney team here said it’s super rare for this to happen and are at a loss as well.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

BUT GOD- God heal her miraculously- I don’t know how else to put it- I’m broken as her husband and begging God mercy.

For our spirits to be lifted and faith to be strengthened. This is such a freak accident and we are very confused.

For our children- we are all having a difficult time right now and they show it in different ways. They are having a hard time with Hannah gone and me leaving back and forth.

Prayer for her blood work to come back showing the is acute and not chronic which would make the donor list more difficult to get on.

Prayer for dialysis to be smooth while we wait for healing-

Prayer for donors to come available sooner rather than later.

We aren’t taking this diagnosis lying down. We are believing in God to heal Hannah and that god will be glorified through all of this- as painful as it is.

As a husband I’m so broken for my wife. She has been the one encouraging me through this. We have 4 babies to raise together and grow old together. So we are choosing to fight and believe that the Lord is good.

I will continue to provide more updates. I know there is a GO FUND ME Paige being created by our family for all of this. If you feel led to give in any amount we will be extremely grateful but prayers are our #1 need.

BUT GOD

He does things different than we can ever imagine. I have no idea how I ended up here but God’s ways are better and higher.

I have His peace. Truly. I cannot explain it but His peace

I believe he is a miracle worker. And I want to see a miracle shock the doctors and nurses but even if that doesn’t happen I know he is still working.

Let’s pray for a miracle and believe and trust that God’s ways are unexplainable but bigger and better than we can fathom. Let’s believe for his miraculous touch & know he has got this!
