Support Hannah's Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends and Family,

Today, I come to you with a heart full of emotions, reaching out for your support for someone who is a pillar in my life. Hannah, who is not just my sister, but my best friend since birth, is facing a challenge that none of us were prepared for. At just 28 years old, Hannah has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer.

Hannah is a devoted mother to my beautiful 5-month-old niece (Wrenley Rose), a loving wife, and a cherished sister and daughter. As the nucleus of her family, Hannah is a super mom, chef, shopper, scheduler, caregiver and so much more. She is also a full-time Speech Language Pathologist who prides herself in her work with her patients every single day. I know Hannah is a beacon of light in all of our lives, and now, she needs us more than ever.

Cancer, in its cruel unpredictability, has thrown formidable challenges in Hannah’s path. She has already undergone major abdominal surgery to remove the tumor, which in itself is a recovery process of several weeks where she is not able to lift her baby. The next step is chemotherapy, which will entail 9 weeks of intense treatment and lifelong side effects. As she gears up to fight the toughest battle of her life, it's not just her fight; it's ours too. Wrenley needs a future filled with her mother's love, laughter, and guidance. And we all want to continue to spend countless years ahead creating memories with Hannah. Knowing my sister, with her indomitable spirit and courage, she's ready to face it head-on. However, this journey is not just about courage; it's about resources too. Medical treatments, ongoing care, and the unanticipated expenses that come with fighting cancer can be overwhelming.

In this trying time, the value of community and togetherness becomes ever more evident. It's in moments like these that our collective support can light up the darkest paths and offer a beacon of hope and resilience. Our united efforts can help play a role in Hannah's fight.
