At only 14 years old, Hannah was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. She had several surgeries and chemotherapy, showing incredible strength and resilience. After years of fighting, she remained in remission for seven years and eight months, building a life for herself and her two young daughters, Sage and Jade.
Recently, after a visit to the emergency room, a mass was discovered on Hannah’s right ovary. Further testing confirmed that the tumor was malignant. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and had to have a complete hysterectomy to help prevent the cancer from spreading. Pathology results indicated gastrointestinal tissue in the sample, and her oncologist is now concerned that her cancer may have metastasized to her GI tract. Hannah will be starting chemotherapy again and will have further testing to determine if and where the cancer may have spread.
This journey has been incredibly hard on Hannah and her family, both emotionally and financially. With Hannah unable to work, her fiancé Alex will be the sole provider for their household as she undergoes treatment. The funds raised will help cover her medical expenses and provide for Sage and Jade during this difficult time. As her mother, I know what this recurrence can do to Hannah’s family emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. I’m hopeful that any support can help lift the burden and stress, allowing Hannah and Alex to focus on her health and caring for their girls. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated.
