Hannah’s story

Rana is starting this fundraiser for her daughter, Hannah, after a terrifying freak accident that happened yesterday. While Hannah was working at a coffee stand, a vehicle traveling on Highway 395 lost a tire, and that tire struck Hannah at high speed. What should have been a normal day at work turned into a traumatic and unexpected event in an instant. This morning, Hannah is going in for surgery to repair her fractured femur and possibly fractures in her pelvis. As a mother, Rana is asking for support for Hannah as she faces the aftermath of this accident and the stress that comes with trying to recover from something so sudden and frightening.

Hannah is part of a single-income household and is raising two teenagers while also working and going to school. This accident has added an overwhelming burden at a time when life was already full.
