Help Hanna Get Life-Saving Brain Surgery

Hi, my name is Hanna Wright. I’m 25 years old, living in Texas, putting myself through nursing school—and now fighting for my life through the help of doctors.

After a devastating car accident, I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation 1, a genetic brain condition where my brain pushes into my spinal canal. Mine extends 13 mm, blocking spinal fluid and causing unbearable pain and pressure. paralysis, dizziness,constant headaches and other serious symptoms. I’ve also been diagnosed with a herniated disc (C4-C5) and a straightening of the normal cervical lordosis.

Because the other driver was underinsured, I’ve used up the only coverage available for MRI test, Ct scans and other testing to find out my medical condition Now, brain/decompression surgery is my only option—but it’s expensive, and I can’t work due to my condition.

I'm asking for help to cover:

    •    Surgery: $25,000

    •    Travel & lodging: $1,000

    •    Dog care while I recover: $500

    •    Basic bills while healing: $3500

    •    Recovery will take 12 months
