My niece, Hanley Neville, is in need of a kidney donor that has Type O blood. Did you know that infants receive kidneys from adult donors?
Hanley was born with end-stage renal disease. Hanley currently remains on 12 hours of life sustaining dialysis daily while she waits for a kidney transplant. We believe Hanley's match is out there.
Hanley's parents, Tara and Brian, have accruing medical bills relating to Hanley's care such as supplies, appointments, and medications. They also frequently transport Hanley to and from Boston Children's Hospital which is approximately three hours away from their residence, as well as to and from Albany Medical Center. With Tara being the best stay-at-home mommy and full-time caregiver for both her toddler Gia and infant Hanley, it can be hard to stay on top of finances with only Brian working. The goal is to improve Hanley's quality of care and ensure she has what she needs to allow her to feel comfortable during this transitional period in her life!
