My name is Christine Eunhee Kim. I am 46 years old and I live in Yucca Valley, California with my husband and a two-year-old son. In January 2023, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer when I was into 7 months postpartum. After I went through with a year of chemotherapy, radiation treatment and a surgery, my scan after the surgery revealed that my cancer was spread to both sides of the lungs and I was re-diagnosed as stage 4. And this time, I was told that there was no cure for me.

I felt defeated and sad after a year of intense battle. At the same time, love for my baby and my life was navigating me through my unknown path with resilience and courage. I stopped waiting and started to live. I started to live ‘NOW’ everyday with my full potential. I did enroll myself in a clinical trial, and began my spiritual healing journey. I chose to do everything and anything to find my own cure.

During the journey, I have faced layers of hardship that test the limits of my human resilience—physical pain, emotional breakdowns, the fear of uncertainty and the financial burdens. This journey has been far beyond what I could imagined to bear and it has carved into my very being. After being labeled as a 'cancer patient', I felt as though my entire identity has been overshadowed by this singular, painful narrative. And it has shaken off the foundation of who I am. At times I felt lost myself under the weight of journey. But, the true core of who I am still exists. The illness could not take away my essence—my love, my dreams, my light—even when it felt obscured.
Before the diagnosis, I have been working as a fashion designer. I am grateful and humbled that my work brings the confidence, joy, and self-expression to others. And I came to aware that there are numerous fashion products that would support people during medical treatments, before and after surgeries, and many more. I have seen and experienced the huge neglected space that needs an urgent attention that I could serve as a gifted fashion designer, filling the space with love and light.

My partner Megan and I are building the first fashion brand, 'Hanah' serves people in our healing journey by offering empowering fashion products. We offer not only the very needed fashion products, but a joyful experience to chemo patients and beyond, transforming lives to be filled with care, dignity and worthiness as we deserve to be inside and outside hospital treatments and surgeries.

The person I was once before the cancer may have been lost, but my new identity has been emerging. My healing journey, though painful, has revealed strengths and truths about myself that I never imagined. The scars—physical and emotional—are becoming the symbols of my endurance, marking not just loss, but the transformation.

I am one among 53 million people living with the cancer worldwide.

We are currently generating samples of (1) a chemo shirt allows easy access to a patient's chest port or picc line during infusion treatments. Chemo shirts are designed to keep patients comfortable and warm without having to remove their shirt during treatment. (2) a child's chemo shirt. (3) apparel with inspirational words that can be worn by all bodies.

What makes us different than any product available?

We want our products to be as natural and free of plastics as possible. Other brands integrate rayon, polyester, nylon and other ingredients. We also are not willing to sacrifice fashion for function. We understand that some cancer patients do not want to share their cancer journey, so our designs come in discreet options. For those who want to share, we will have graphics for those who want to live out loud.

In March 2025 we plan to roll out our Shopify website to take preorder numbers for Adults and Kids.

Eventually Hanah will also have ostomy bottoms, 5FU pump bags, head coverings and more available for purchase online. Our vision is for Hanah to be a one-stop shop for all things chemotherapy (think Stitch Fix). We envision a blog and web community where people can share their stories and get inspired by others. Our big future plan involves purchasing property in nature to build a wellness center and retreat where patients and humans can get healthy from Eastern medicine, nourishing food, breathwork, yoga, crystals, sound baths, salt caves, float therapy, light therapy, massage, personal development, reading, ancient medicine, and more. We have a HUGE dream and many people to heal along the way.

Donors, dreamers, warriors welcome.
