In the wake of Matt’s unexpected passing many friends and family members have reached out with condolences and offers of help. Everyone’s kind words have been very much appreciated at a time when Hana and Gavin are feeling overwhelmed with his loss and lost in their grief.

The road ahead is full of uncertainties, and Hana is not quite sure what will be needed. However, as a family, we do want to acknowledge how much everyone’s gestures of kindness and offers of support have meant to all of us.

At this time, we feel the best way to help Hana and Gavin navigate the days ahead and beyond is by creating a family fund so those who wish to help can. These funds will go directly to Hana to help with the expected and unexpected expenses due to the loss of a beloved husband and father; from groceries and meal delivery, to bills and medical costs.
