My name is Hamza. After 15 months of ongoing devastation, a brief humanitarian truce, and now the return of airstrikes and shellings, once again, I am living in an endless catastrophe. I have no choice but to ask for your help through donations.

Before the war, I lived a normal life, working in the clothing trade, but since October 7, 2023, my life turned upside down. I lost my entire clothing stock, and my merchandise that I used to sell scattered in the streets amidst the rubble and destruction. My home was destroyed in airstrikes, and I lost everything.

I was separated from my family for more than a year. They headed to the south which was said to be a safe zone. But nowhere was safe. In January 2025, my family returned to the north of Gaza when ceasefire was declared. We lived in our old home that was partially destroyed. However, after a short period, my family’s house was targeted again. The truce had been violated, resulting in the martyrdom of 30 members of my family.

Due to an entire month of blockade, food has been scarce again in the markets, and if there is any, prices are extremely high.

My soul is weary. We try to remain steadfast in our land and do not want to leave. We watch the killing, destruction, and the loss of our loved ones, but we thank God for everything.

I ask for your help to survive. Any donation will be used to buy food and basic necessities, support my family, and contribute to rebuilding our lives. Any amount, no matter how small, can make a huge difference.

اسمي حمزة، وبعد 15 شهرًا من الحرب المستمرة، هدنة إنسانية قصيرة، ثم عودة القتال مرة أخرى، ما زلت أعيش في كارثة لا نهاية لها. لم يكن لدي خيار سوى طلب مساعدتكم بالتبرعات.

قبل الحرب، كنت أعيش حياة طبيعية، أعمل في تجارة الملابس، لكن منذ 7 أكتوبر 2023، انقلبت حياتي رأسًا على عقب. فقدت مخزون الملابس الخاص بي بالكامل، وتناثرت بضاعتي التي كنت أبيعها في الشوارع وسط الركام والدمار. منزلي دُمّر في غارات جوية، وخسرت كل شيء.

لقد انفصلت عن عائلتي خلال الحرب، لكنهم عادوا إلى غزة بعد وقف إطلاق النار، وسكنا معًا في منزلنا المقصوف. ولكن بعد مدة قصيرة، تم استهداف منزل عائلتي مجددًا إثر اختراق التهدئة، مما أدى إلى استشهاد 30 شخصًا.

لا يوجد طعام في الأسواق، وإن وجد، فإن الأسعار مرتفعة جدًا بسبب إغلاق المعبر واستمرار القتل والنزوح.

الروح متعبة، نحاول الصمود في أرضنا ولا نريد الخروج. نشاهد القتل والدمار ورحيل أحبابنا، لكننا نحمد الله على كل شيء.
