We would like to introduce Hamsa Lila Mobile Temple, Outreach, and Prasadam distribution program based in Alachua, Florida.

Our inspiration has its roots within the famous Radha Damodara Bus parties, as well as the Iskcon Garuda Bus Touring company.

Iskcon Garuda was our highly succesful West Coast based outreach, Bhakta training, and Prasadam distribution bus program started in Jan 1987.

Garuda's routes included travels to West Coast Grateful Dead shows, over 30 Music and Healing gatherings including Rainbow, Heartwood Institute, Oregon Country Fair, Summer Solstice, Omega Institute (NY) and multiple Earth Dance events...as well as Earth First (radical activist group) to their chartered protests. This included the historical, 3 month Pacific Northwest Summer Redwood Tree action in 1988, as well as the Nevada Test Site Nuclear Ground Zero protest(10k attended), and various Humboldt State University Dept class charters

Garuda mainly focused on

West Coast Nama Hatta, University Hari Nam, and book distribution programs, as well as direct Krsna devotee chartered events such as Rathyatras, Krsna Youth Tours and Rainbow Gatherings. And this is only a partial list!

Garuda's 3nd generation yellow bus eventually would be sold as the original seed vehicle to Manoram Prabhu's now world famous Vaisnava Youth bus program we see today. (See attachment)

Hamsa Lilas primary focus is to reinspire seasoned devotee men and women back out in a traveling, old school, street outreach program model.

Come join us even if only for a couple of days as we visit universities introducing Hari Nama and book tables to the public, Yoga center Kirtan events with Sanjivanam Kirtan Yoga Troupe, as well as the ever important Nama Hatta house programs, and including pop up spontaneous events during our travels as we distribute the Holy Names, Prasadam and glorifying Jagad Guru Srila Prabhupada!

Please note that the mobile temple unit is a community asset available to support Vaisnavi (women) outreach efforts as well...and requires reservations in advance when available for use.

Hamsa Lila is currently serving Grihasta Vaisnava men and new aspiring male bhaktas in a limited capacity of two to three participants at a time as we travel from Mississippi up to Alabama, across Southern Georgia and down through Florida(Winter tour).

We have purchased this year, a solid and reliable 2016 Toyota SR5 4Runner($23,000) as the support tow vehicle, and we seek to purchase a small "Toy Hauler" trailer that will accommodate two to three devotees ($12,000+-), and the necessary legal cottage kitchen setup conversion / cooking paraphernalia for prashad distribution($1k-$2k), as well as providing adequate storage for books and instruments, and housing for the deities.

Total requested $12k-$14k.

Why a "Toy Hauler"

These trailers are ideal since the back wall door drops down and offers rear separate Prasadam serve out capacity, and once down, the door also acts as a stage for outdoor Kirtan / Yoga events, and also allows the trailer to convert to a overhead covered stage venue inside during inclement weather.

Cash talks, so we're looking to offer substantially less than the asking price since the trailer market right now is soft and slowing down due to economic downturn.

By supporting this project the benefits are huge cultivating and connecting the hundreds of families and individuals within the various congregational travel routes through home programs, campus and yoga center outreach, and prashad distribution, while also facilitating the various temples, cow protection, and Krsna House projects, etc as well.
