On November 30th, 2025, Hamid Boyd was walking to the store when he was tragically gunned down in Norristown. Hamid grew up in Norristown with his loving family — his mom, older brother, and little sister. He was a devoted father to his 2-year-old daughter, and his presence brought joy and hope to everyone around him. Hamid was deeply loved by his grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and even his teachers and staff at Martin Luther School. He graduated from Martin Luther and Upper Dublin High school this past June, a proud moment for his family and community. He played basketball and had several Division 1 schools scouting him, showing just how bright his future was. His loss is heartbreaking and has left a void that can never be filled.

Hamid’s passing will be forever mourned by his family, friends, and everyone who loved him dearly. We are asking for support to help cover the costs of his janaza and related expenses, hoping to ease the burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time.
