For anyone who doesn’t know, over the last week, my dad’s (Harold Leon Waite IV) spinal cancer has reached its final stage. On Wednesday morning, he suddenly became incoherent and unresponsive, very unexpectedly, so we kept him as comfortable as possible until he passed a few days later.

I am setting up this GoFundMe to help my 16-year-old brother and me afford cremation/funeral services, everyday bills, and life. Every dollar counts right now, as we were not expecting this quite yet, and any help is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:

Harold Leon Waite IV passed peacefully in his sleep this morning September 13, 2025 at 9 a.m. at the young age of 57 when his gram and pop told him it was time to come home to the kingdom of heaven with them. He was his kids superhero and protector all the way until the very end. He was such a loving, caring, smart, and kind soul to everyone who knew and loved him. He was joined in death with his Gram; Marjorie Waite and his Pop; Harold Leon Waite II as well as many other friends that have been up there waiting to greet him. His love and light will be celebrated and cherished every day by all of his loved ones still here with us. His kids: Susan M Cole, Logan W Waite, ACE Waite, and Morgan Waite. The woman he loved the most: Tiffany Andrea Waite. His brother's Christopher Waite, Robert Liberty Jr., Jason Liberty, and Shane Liberty. His grandchildren Savayah Sky Yates, and Haven Trydle and his parents Linda and Bob Liberty. He will be carried on forever in our hearts and minds until we meet again. His memorial was held on Saturday October 4 at the ER Church in Wilmer, Alabama and was absolutely beautiful and I want to thank everyone who attended.
