Support Halo's Recovery from Hit-and-Run

Hi, my name is Celeste, and I’m fundraising to save my sweet boy, Halo.

A few days ago, Halo was hit by a car in a hit-and-run. The impact left him with a dislocated leg and hip, and he now needs emergency surgery (FHO) to walk again. Right now, he can’t use his leg at all and is in serious pain. If this surgery isn’t done soon, the damage could become irreversible.

Halo isn’t just my dog he’s my first ever dog, a promise I made to my younger self. Growing up, I always loved dogs but was never allowed to have one. I told myself that as soon as I was old enough and on my own, the first thing I’d do is get a dog. Halo was that dream come true.

What makes this even harder is that I suffer from major depression and anxiety. Halo is more than just a pet he’s my certified Emotional Support Animal. And not in the way some people just do it to finesse the system he truly, deeply helps me function and stay grounded. He, along with my other dog Nova. They are the biggest blessing in my life. When I say my dogs are my kids, I mean it. They are my everything.

If you’ve ever met Halo, you know how sweet, playful, and full of light he is. He’s the kind of dog who makes everyone smile. Seeing him unable to move, crying out in pain, has broken me. We rushed him to the ER and got him evaluated, but the visit alone drained our savings. His surgery will cost over $3,000, and we simply can’t afford it on our own.

I hate asking for money. I’ve always tried to handle things myself. But this time, I can’t. So I’m asking, from the bottom of my heart if you can donate anything at all, no matter how small, please help us save Halo’s and end his pain.
