Help Hallie Shine Bright Through Her Fight

Donation protected
April 2025 - Hallie has officially started her last intense phase of chemo! This phase should last about 2.5 months depending how her blood work responds. Right now she is looking forward to late June/ July 2025 to begin her maintenance phase of chemotherapy ( just once a month ) until the beginning of February 2027. During maintenance phase she is expected to lead a more normal life . She will be able to attend school , see her friends on a regular basis, grow her hair and go to Cabos ( her favorite Mexican food spot) etc.

Prayers are needed right now for a smooth chemo phase. When I say it is “intense” it truly means every bit of that word. The term “intensification” is used in the official name of this phase. She is back on steroids currently which notoriously comes with a lot of side effects , as well as, two more rounds of the deep muscle shots that really seem to knock her down. I mention a couple of these medications but there are several other meds she will be receiving in a short period of time they could really take a toll on her little body and spirit.

We are seeing a bit of light at the end of this tunnel but that doesn’t come with a price here in the next couple months. ❤️‍

Feb 2025 - Update: It's been a whirlwind of emotions, but our brave Hallie continues to amaze us every day! She has completed 4 months of treatment and is handling everything with so much strength and resilience. Despite the challenges, she’s still her spunky, sassy self—keeping us all smiling even on the hardest days.

We are incredibly grateful for the care she’s receiving at Riley Hospital and for the overwhelming love and support from all of you. Your prayers, messages, and generosity mean the world to us. Please continue to keep Hallie in your thoughts as we navigate this journey. We couldn’t do it without you! #HallieStrong

A few days ago, we received unimaginable news: our sweet 4-year-old Hallie girl was diagnosed with T-cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Her only symptom was primarily swollen lymph nodes throughout her neck, clavicle, groin, and armpit. Although we've had some very scary days, Hallie is already proving to be a fighter! Our doctors here at Riley Hospital for Children have been very reassuring and are delivering excellent care.

Hallie has barely missed a beat; she's been spunky and sassy, of course, throughout this whole process. It's so reassuring to see her spirit so alive during a time of such trial. Even though we have a long journey ahead, we couldn't do it without our faith in God and all the love and support we have received thus far. Please keep our family in your prayers and most importantly our sweet Hallie girl ❤️‍
