Honor Rose Marie's Memory by Helping the Animals She Loved

On July 26, 2026, Rose Marie Cordeiro passed away peacefully at the age of 84.

Rose will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and ability to make everyone feel at home. Whether through a home cooked meal, her wonderful sense of humor, or the warmth she shared with family and friends, she touched the lives of so many.

One of Rose's greatest passions was caring for animals. Greece held a special place in her heart, and over the course of more than 25 visits, she developed a deep love for the country's people, culture, and countless stray animals. She proudly volunteered with Halkidiki Animal Rescue, helping care for dogs and cats who had been abandoned or left to survive on the streets.

To honor Rose's memory and continue the compassion she showed throughout her life, this fundraiser has been created to benefit Halkidiki Animal Rescue. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help provide food, veterinary care, shelter, and a second chance for animals in need.
