My name is Halie Osborn, and this GoFundMe was requested to assist in medical bills associated with possible endometriosis. I have been struggling with extreme periods since the age of 8 years old, and since have had medical problems regularly since then. I remember complaining about my periods for years, but things got worse in 2016, when my gall bladder mysteriously erupted and nearly ended my life. Thankfully, I survived and am still here to tell the tale, plus tell funny jokes and cry on the internet! We’ve still got issues, though, because medical care in America is absolutely bonkers and I’ve amassed quite a bit of medical debt since then. On top of this, there is still nonstop pain that needs addressed.

Throughout the years I have had x-rays, MRIs, Pap smears, multiple different birth controls. I’ve had colonoscopies and endoscopies. I’ve had a colposcopy that was done poorly and now needs repeated. I’ve had cat scans. Ive seen gastro doctors, neuro doctors and have even seen heart doctors. I’ve seen 10 different primary doctors, and have been referred to dozens more. I lost my period for four years and it recently came back. The pain is now absolutely unbearable and interfering with my daily life. Whether I’m on my period or not, the feeling of my insides mixing and burning and stabbing are becoming so bad, I am desperate for any help I can get to live even a semblance of a normal life.

Any and all money donated to this GoFundMe will go directly to medical bills and the continued efforts of getting healthy. I have dreams and aspirations, and as someone who works with children with autism, it is extremely important I continue the work to get healthy to continue my work.
