In January 2026, Hailey received devastating news: doctors discovered a 13-pound teratoma tumor in her stomach. This type of tumor is extremely rare, and because of its size, the surgery to remove it was incredibly risky. Hailey endured a 9-hour surgery and fought her way through it with incredible strength. But during that process, doctors made another heartbreaking discovery—Haley also has a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as yolk sac cancer. Because of how severe the cancer was, doctors had no choice but to begin chemotherapy just one week after her surgery. Hailey is now in the ICU on a ventilator, fighting with everything she has. Her family hasn’t left her side in Lexington. They’re staying nearby in a hotel so they can be with her every moment during this unimaginable time. Living four hours away, they’ve had to put everything on hold. Her dad stays with her during the day, her mom through the night, and he hasn’t been able to work since this all began. Hailey was placed on sick leave back in January but has since lost her job. The financial strain has been overwhelming for her family. Funds raised will help cover hotel stays for her parents, Haileys bills at her home in Danville, food for her family, and help with their bills since they haven’t been able to work. Any support, whether it’s a donation or sharing this page, means the world to Hailey and her family. Thank you for caring and helping during this unimaginable time.
