My best friend was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic melanoma late last year. As she continues her fight to beat this difficult and daunting disease, her finances have been stressed by her ever-increasing healthcare costs. She is currently recovering from surgery that, at minimum, will have her out of work for a month. Haley works as a therapist primarily working with clients who are LGBTQIA+ (a TRUE ALLY) & clients that suffer from chronic illnesses. She has applied for PFMLA, but the amount is much lower than expected and is not enough to cover her healthcare costs & living expenses while she awaits an appeal.

To those of us who know Haley, we know that she is not someone who would ever ask for help, but in this moment she needs us more than ever. She has consistently been there for everyone in her life, and right now she needs us to be there for her.

Funds raised will be used to pay medical expenses, living expenses, & other costs that fighting cancer can incur.
