This July fourth Haley received heartbreaking news that she has Leukemia. As we had been preparing for our month long cross country trip our trajectory for the next year did a full 180. As an aspiring nurse she is now faced with the inability to work and attend school. With this both her and her family are now faced with emotional, physical, and now financial stress, as treatment will be taking place in the coming months and years. She is incredibly strong and is determined to make a full recovery and plans to complete our trip next summer.
