Support Haley's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello,

My name is Mike and I am Haley’s uncle. Haley was diagnosed with aggressive stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma on December 3rd, 2024. Haley is only 26 years old and has just started her career post-college as a microbiology lab technician. Our goal is to make sure Haley has enough money for her treatments and to supplement her income as she has already needed to take significant time off work due to being too sick from treatments.

She will be staying with us with each treatment so we can take care of her until she feels well enough to return home. We live 5 minutes away from her cancer treatment center, and she lives an hour away, so we all feel more comfortable with her having extra support at our home and being close to the resources that can help if she needs medical assistance. Her first treatment was on December 26th, and she started not feeling well right away. She stayed at our home for about a week and a half before she started feeling well enough to go home.

We appreciate any positive thoughts you can send her way. She, like many young people straight out of college, was already struggling to live on her own with the costs of living these days, so we would like to alleviate some of the stress associated with the costs of paying her medical bills. She has remained very positive and has not lost her sense of humor as she begins this long journey to beat the cancer.
