Hi, my name is Haley. I’m a single mom doing everything I can to keep a roof over the heads of my 7-year-old daughter and my mother. Life has been an uphill battle lately. Between inflation, rising rent, and the everyday costs of survival, we’ve found ourselves stuck in a hole that we just can’t seem to climb out of, no matter how hard we try.

We’ve exhausted every resource available to us. We've cut every corner, asked for extensions, picked up gig work, and leaned on our community for support. But despite doing everything right, we’re still $235 short on this month’s rent, and the deadline is tomorrow. If we can’t come up with this last bit, we’ll lose our home.

We’re asking for help not just to keep us from becoming homeless today, but to give us a little cushion to stay afloat next month, too. Our goal is to raise $1,235: $235 for the immediate need, and $1,000 to give us a fighting chance at making next month’s rent without falling into the same cycle of panic and crisis.
